Midnight Youth set to perform for SoundSchool/12,08,10
Some of the industry’s hottest bands, Midnight Youth, The Delta Riggs, and Sydney’s favourite mock rock band Bigphallica, are set to perform all under one roof for a fundraising gig this August, for SoundSchool - a music movement committed to giving the gift of music to disadvantaged kids living on the streets, around the world.
SoundSchool is a new, Sydney based music initiative aiming to raise money to purchase musical instruments, teaching aids and music tuition for street children in underprivileged countries - first stop being kids in India, where 10 per cent of India’s 440 million children live impoverished on the streets.
The inaugural SoundSchool event will come to life with a live and loud fundraising gig at Bondi’s Beach Road Hotel on Saturday 21st August, 2010, hosted by Channel V’s, Jane Gazzo. The Delta Riggs, Midnight Youth, Bigphallica are set to take the stage supported by and a mash up of local Sydney DJs + more to be announced.

With over 40 dates in Australia, what’s been the highlight of the tour so far and where have you most enjoyed playing? Our tour highlights always involve driving - that's what we love about Australia, there's actually long roads. That and McDonalds' free wifi. Almost all the shows we've played have been great but it was pretty special to play The Palace in Melbourne recently...
